Artists Cafe, Brewery Arts, Cirencester

New Brewery Arts in Cirencester will be hosting its first Artists Cafe on Tuesday 7th April, in the cafe at the craft centre, from 7pm until 9pm. This is an opportunity for Gloucestershire artists to network in a relaxed atmosphere, and listen to the talks by those in the profession. The event will be a regular slot on the first Tuesday of each month.

Contemporary Craft Fellowship Scheme

Over the past 18 months I have had the pleasure of administrating the Contemporary Craft Fellowship for ArtsMatrix, in collaboration with the Crafts Council, Arts Council South West, and the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. This week sees the final culmination of this work in a exhibition RE:Route at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Bovey Tracey (14th March 26th April).
The scheme offered 5 craftspeople a bursary and mentor support, and each recipient interpreted the scheme in very different ways, to help them take their work to the next level.
