Using After Effects software, you will produce 2D animations, which will develop and underpin your current knowledge. All learners are welcome but an understanding of the software and some animation techniques would be an advantage.

Artists Cafe, Brewery Arts, Cirencester
New Brewery Arts in Cirencester will be hosting its first Artists Cafe on Tuesday 7th April, in the cafe at the craft centre, from 7pm until 9pm. This is an opportunity for Gloucestershire artists to network in a relaxed atmosphere, and listen to the talks by those in the profession. Contemporary Craft Fellowship Scheme
Over the past 18 months I have had the pleasure of administrating the Contemporary Craft Fellowship for ArtsMatrix, in collaboration with the Crafts Council, Arts Council South West, and the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. This week sees the final culmination of this work in a exhibition RE:Route at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Bovey Tracey (14th March 26th April).
The scheme offered 5 craftspeople a bursary and mentor support, and each recipient interpreted the scheme in very different ways, to help them take their work to the next level.

Eight Mentoring Bursaries in total, to be completed before February 2010, for creative individuals and businesses resident in the six districts of Gloucestershire
£800 worth of Mentoring, equivalent to 20 hours support
£200 Bursary, to support the aims of the mentoring bursary, which can include training, research, travel, purchase of essential equipment, or further mentoring
£200 towards travel and expenses to support the Mentoring Relationship
One full training day for all mentors and mentees

Applications are invited from artists of all disciplines for this post which will run from June 2009 for one year. The appointment will take in all the events in the Cathedral calendar during the year and will therefore be involved with interpreting the life of the Cathedral within the context of the visual arts. FREE Sing Up! Training, Gloucester
Gloucestershire Music Service has helped support some FREE training for people working with children (ages 5-11), who would like to develop their skills and confidence in leding singing sessions.The FREE training will be held on Tuesday 10th February, 10am - 4.30pm at Gloucester Guildhall. The GMG have just announced that they will be running two new, FREE courses. These are up-skilling sessions with quality tuition from industry professionals, at the high standard you have come to expect from GMG courses.
The GMG have just announced that they will be running two new, FREE courses. These are up-skilling sessions with quality tuition from industry professionals, at the high standard you have come to expect from GMG courses.
We can offer this to you for FREE through European funding especially for creative people in Gloucestershire (thank you ESF and Learning Skills Council). To make it all as convenient and accessible as possible for all you busy creative types, the courses will be offered over four 3-hour evenings between mid February and April 2009.
Course 1: 2D Animation Embedding flash animation into a variety of different interactive media. Using Adobe Photoshop and In Design software packages, to produce 2D animations.
Course 2: Post Production Develop skills across the whole of the Final Cut Pro Suite. This involves audio work using Sound Track Pro, graphics in Motion and titling in Live Type, as well as Video editing.
Using a combination of hands-on activities, you will have a chance to focus on specific areas or develop skills across the range. ONLY 10 places available on each course (to make it really focused on your needs).
